Instructors

Our instructors are graduates of the Trainee Instructor Program and our Black Belt Leadership Program (which combine to form an intensive 3-year training system) Our instructors are committed to on-going instructor training.

 

 

Chief Instructor Jessa Swift is a 4th Degree Black Belt, is Nationally Certified, and receives on-going advanced training to upgrade instructor skills and to bring new ideas to her classes. Her specialties include Protech Weapons, and she is an International Top Ten competitor and Triple Crown State Champ in sparring, forms and weapons. She is testing in June 2007 for 5th Degree Black Belt.

 

 

 

 

 

Helen Shellito, Assistant Instructor, ATA for Autism and Seniors Still Kickin Instructor. Mrs. Shellito began her martial arts career after watching her 3 grandchildren enjoy class and benefit from Leadership training. She says, “I finally just ran out of excuses and joined in.” Now she is a triple crown State Champ in her division, and will be testing soon to become a Certified Trainer.

 

 

 

Claude Hancock, Assistant Instructor, Mixed Martial Arts teacher. Mr. Hancock is a Black Belt and Level One Certified Trainer. Along with PPCT, Bahng Mahng Ee stick certifications, he has trained in the military and has undergone law enforcement training.
